I don't like commercial radio. I listen to LNL, Dr Karl and Ricky Gervais podcasts and think Karl Pilkington is the funniest man on Earth.

my interests

Music: I love all kinds of music esp jazz, blues, indie pop, progressive house, some country (but only the good stuff like Willie Nelson & The Waifs) & folk. I love In the Hall of the Mountain King by Grieg on Saturday mornings. Not a fan of most metal, but can deal with classic punk.

Reading: Love Kurt Vonnegut, John Irving & Dickens and there is always room for more Ben Elton and Armistead Maupin in my library. Some favourites are The World According to Garp, Catch 22, Cats Cradle, High Society & Great Expectations. I'm also partial to the odd non-fiction by someone like Chomsky.

Movies & TV: TV: Buffy, Life on Mars (the real one), The Office (also the real one), Extras, Teachers & Twin Peaks. Movies: love Tim Burton, Hitchcock & Tarantino. Have seen Oliver! and Fight Club a million times. I also like the odd 80s blockbuster, MGM musical & a bit of John Hughes.

Sport: Can watch the Bledisloe and the Ashes. But would rather go out for a boogie or an early morning walk than participate.

Other interests: Singing: would love to find a band that plays something other than just pub rock. Karaoke and musicals are my guilty pleasures. Travel: lived in London for 2 years & could live there forever. Politics: am slightly green & red & believe that community is the key.
