I'm a single mother to two teenagers (one at Uni, one working), as well as a four year old - all boys who light up my life in their individual ways.
I'm working nights for another nine months or so while finishing my degree - doesn't leave a lot of time or energy for a social life but I haven't given up hope of finding the right guy.
I'm basically an old-fashioned girl in that I can cook, clean and do all the usual girl things (except I hate shopping!) - but I'm also a bit of a tomboy having grown up with three brothers - can't exactly do much with engines etc, but apart from that am very independent and do lots of "guy stuff" for myself.
I'm equally as comfortable at a backyard bbq with friends as attending 5 star events or locations... not into camping though as I prefer to spoil myself with luxury when I do take time out.
I've pretty much lived on the Gold Coast for over 20 years after growing up in New Zealand... just a down to earth girl raising her kids and still hoping to meet someone special to share my life with. Minimal baggage as I tend to use past experiences to grow from rather than weigh me down.
No expensive tastes - one handbag, little makeup, 2 or 3 pairs of shoes... perfect date to me is a night or an early morning on the beach...

I'm attracted to intelligence in its many forms, and to humour. Things I'm not attracted to are dishonesty and laziness.
Would not consider a relationship with someone who's either in a relationship already, or not working or studying. Apart from that, I'm open to age and most other circumstances.

- Love most music except country, opera and head banging stuff.... At the moment I like Lily Allen, Katy Perry, Black Eyed Peas, Pink, etc.

- LOL for the past few years textbooks is about all I get to read.
- Movies & TV
- Love comedy, thrillers, crime stuff and the odd chick flick - only thing I'm not into I guess are the really low grade gore movies. Love Nicolas Cage, Keanu Reeves, Richard Gere, Adam Sandler, Ben Stiller, Reece Witherspoon.
Not into reality tv at all, into crime shows.

- Adaptable to watching many sports, don't have time to play any recently but I enjoy swimming.
- Other interests
- When I have time I enjoy going to the theme parks or on short getaways. Love early mornings on the beach with someone special. I'm not closed to trying new things but it's hard to come up with my own interests right here and now when I haven't been taking much time out for myself recently.... :(
