I am not a needy person, am not bitter over past relationships and cynical is not a word to describe me. I am a positive, sensitive, DTE, gsoh, optimistic (glass half full, not half empty, red of course), social & happy person who enjoys the good things life has to offer and appreciates quiet times too.
I am as comfortable in a cocktail dress as I am in a pair of jeans.I keep fit & healthy with regular visits to the gym, pilates classes and walking my dog (great thinking time).
I enjoy all the things in life that everyone likes which include food, wine, live concerts, shows, outdoor movies, weekends away with friends or someone special. I value my friends and enjoy catching up, family get togethers, curling up with a gud book (when I have time), cooking with/for someone, listening to music etc etc etc.
I still believe in romance and firmly believe there is someone special for all of us in our little part of the world. - My music selection depends entirely on my mood at the time but my musical taste is very varied. I love live concerts, recently saw Stevie Wonder and Simply Red and I enjoy musicals too.
- Reading
- Trying to read more in 2009. I like health & fitness books, fact and fiction. Am currently reading 'The Lost Symbol' by Dan Brown and am finding it verrrry hard to put down. Like browsing Body & Soul and STM magazine in the Sunday Times
- Movies & TV
- Luv the movies. Most recently have seen 'The Ugly Truth' which was the funniest movie I have seen in ages. This year I have also seen Australia, Slumdog Millionaire, The International and went 'Goldclass' to see Angels & Demons. Definately the best way to go to the Movies :-) :-)
- Sport
- Enjoy football but must admit I dont fully understand it. Would much rather be at a live match than watch it on tv. Like to watch tennis and love going to the races if that counts as sport!!!! I go to the gym on a regular basis, do Pilates and walk my dog on a regular basis
- Other interests
- Currently renovating my house which is soooo time consuming, sooo frustrating and totally rewarding!!!!.Want to travel more but not much fun on your own..
